While the majority of Japanese groups seem content with playing only to Japanese audiences, Dreams Come True always had broader aspirations. They wanted to bring their music to the entire world. To do this they would need to write and sing songs in English.
Not only have they released songs in English, but they currently have two full English language albums (with a third soon to be released!). One of which, Sing or Die, was released in America in 1998. Two of their English singles released in Japan have even gone to #1!
